How the Writers' Network works

You continue your writing journey with Irene Graham and develop your stories to publishing standard.

The Writers’ Network applies to Fiction Writing, Autobiographical Fiction, Memoir Writing and Creative Non-Fiction.

Each course comprises:

Online Memoir Archive

Participants in our Writers’ Network may submit any number of Miniature Memoirs* to our Online Archive, free of charge, throughout each course.

This archive and website, The Memoir Writing Club, is included in the Digital Archive of The British Library – which means your stories are preserved and protected for future generations, forever!

This archive will be offered to the Public as a reading resource, free of charge.

Note:

  • Authors retain 100% copyright of their work.
  • We will notify you when we launch our Public Reading Room.
  • Archiving details are provided when you join a course in the Writers’ Network.

Memoir Critique

Avail of a Memoir Critique on your Miniature Memoirs from our Editorial Staff of writers.
How it works:
  • Submit your Miniature Memoirs to us online
  • Receive feedback on your story – to bring it to publication standard
  • Plus an editorial clean up on punctuation, grammar and spelling
  • Discounts apply to Memoir Critique fees – details upon application

Story Consultant – Irene Graham

A Private Story Consultation with Irene on Memoir and Fiction manuscripts includes:
  • a 60 minute one to one LIVE consultation
  • in-depth guidance with feedback on your story detailing what to change, develop and work on

Yes, if you are a past participant of Irene Graham’s workshops you are eligible to discounted fees when you enroll in the online memoir writing course.

To gain the most from our Writers’ Network and our Online Memoir Writing Course, Irene recommends joining each stage of the writing process separately.

*What is a Miniature Memoir?

A Miniature Memoir, defined by Irene Graham, is a short memoir relating a life experience or experiences, creatively written and structured with a beginning, middle and end, comprising 1000 to 2000 words.

Are there any special technical requirements?

No, a good internet connection is all that is technically required to access all facilities in the Writers’ Network and The Memoir Writing Club. Special software is not required.
